Fundación CETMO
At the age of 16 I decided to be someday a Civil Engineer. After passing the entry
exam to the State University and the first courses, I started to get interested by
Transport Management, while started doing practices in the field. On the spring of
2008, I got my Degree in Public Works Engineering in the specialty of Transport
Management. Later in 2008 I got into the Civil Engineering Graduate, specializing also
in Transport Management.
In the professional field, I worked for a roads design company for nearly a year; and
since the summer of 2008 I’ve been working for the Fundación CETMO, a private
foundation dependant from the Catalonia DOT and the Spanish Government.
At the Fundación CETMO, I firstly worked on a Transit Quality Improvement Program
commissioned by the Catalonia DOT. Since delivering this work, I’ve been working on
a Transport Managing Strategies review book; specially focused on Demand
Management Tools, Traffic Management and ITS, and commissioned by the Spanish
Ministry of Infrastructure.
I have also attended several conferences on Transit, Freight, Pricing and
Environmental Issues in Transport.
The Fundación CETMO is a non-profit organization; works at the EU and
Mediterranean level on these fields and others, such as the European Transport
Networks Program or Transport Observatories.
